Finish Activity

Purpose: Mark the workflow as finished. This activity immediately terminates the workflow, clearing all pending work, bookmarks, and completion callbacks.

Input Properties

This activity has no input properties. It immediately finishes the workflow when executed.

Output Properties

This activity has no output properties.

Usage Example

Scenario: Finish workflow early based on a condition

Workflow Structure:
1. Check condition
2. If condition met: Finish Activity
3. Otherwise: Continue with normal processing

Configuration:
- No configuration needed
- Place Finish activity where you want to terminate the workflow

Result:
- Workflow is immediately marked as finished
- All pending activities are cancelled
- Workflow status changes to Finished
- No further execution occurs

Important Notes

  • Finish immediately terminates the entire workflow
  • All pending activities are cancelled
  • All bookmarks are cleared
  • All completion callbacks are cleared
  • The workflow status is set to Finished
  • Finish is a terminal activity - execution stops immediately
  • Different from End which completes a flowchart, Finish terminates the entire workflow
  • Use Finish for early termination scenarios
